Short Bowel Syndrome

The Research Group Short Bowel Syndrome investigates the pathogenesis, diagnosis and therapy of chronic intestinal failure. Our research focuses on non-invasive diagnosis, pathogenic mechanisms underlying intestinal failure associated liver disease (IFALD) as well as intestinal barrier function. We regularly present our results at national and international meetings.
