Outpatient Clinic for Inflammatory Bowel Diseases

In our outpatient clinic for inflammatory bowel diseases we treat patients with Crohn's disease, ulcerative colitis, indeterminate colitis and other rare inflammatory bowel diseases. In addition to all established drug therapies, we also offer participation in clinical trials.

What we can do for you:

In the university outpatient clinic for inflammatory bowel diseases, we treat patients with the following clinical pictures:

  • Crohn's disease
  • Ulcerative colitis
  • Indeterminate colitis
  • Celiac disease (Sprue)

Your family doctor (e.g. internist, general practitioner) or established gastrointestinal specialist (gastroenterologist) can refer you to the special consultation hours.

You will receive interdisciplinary care (rheumatology, dermatology, neurology, radiology, surgery, nutrition, rehabilitation) at the Inflammation Center.

All modern diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of diseases and their follow-up conditions up to organ replacement therapy (in cooperation with the Clinic for General, Visceral and Transplant Surgery of the Charité) are available.

In particular, the clinic offers co-treatment of complicated and refractory cases.
